Green On Wednesday?

If you wear a specific colour on a particular day of the week, it’ll be beneficial for you.

Monday – White
Tuesday – Red
Wednesday – Green
Thursday – Yellow
Friday – White
Saturday – Black
Sunday – Red

The above theory is followed by many. If you are among them or have heard about the principle and often wonder how correct it is, this post is for you.

The very first question is that where this theory came from. It’s one of the basics of astrology which many of us are already aware of. Still for the benefit of those who aren’t, here it is.
Each day of the week is associated with a planet. On that particular day, the respective planet is more powerful and has more influence compared to the other six days. Apart from the day of the week, there’s also a particular colour wearing which further increases that planet’s impact on you. Which planet’s effect you’re enhancing on you by wearing the Colour-on-Day combination goes like this.

White on Monday – Moon
Red on Tuesday – Mars
Green on Wednesday – Mercury
Yellow on Thursday – Jupiter
White on Friday – Venus
Black on Saturday – Saturn
Red on Sunday – Sun

Let’s understand by taking Wednesday as an example:
If you wear green on Wednesday, you’re directly strengthening the impact of Mercury on yourself. If Mercury is a benefic as per your horoscope, it’s a wise step to wear green. But if it’s a malefic, you just invited more problems for yourself. How? Suppose you have an enemy who wants to hit you as bad as he can but has no weapons. You just gifted him a knife to help him harm you! Doesn’t sound like a good idea, does it?

What about Yellow on Thursday?

The example mentioned above holds true for every other colour-day pair as well. Yellow on Thursday is no exception. If you’re not sure which planets are good for you and and which ones aren’t, it’s best to do the opposite of what this theory says. Do NOT wear white on Monday, red on Tuesday and so on. Or even better – You can consult an astrologer to understand your favourable and unfavourable colours and make the best use of Colour Therapy.
